Mac Maclean (they/them) is a queer graphic designer, illustrator, and cartoonist with a degree in Applied Cartooning from The Center for Cartoon Studies. They are a librarian for teachers in a public school system where they solve problems using audio technology and comics. They make comics about grief, identity, bodies and games. They are currently available for part-time work and freelance projects.
They are a recipient of a 2024 Mini-MICE grant for TAPE #453.


They moderated the panel "Drawn to Play: Creating Graphic Narratives About And For Games" featuring Box Brown, Jon Chad, Steenz, and Sophie Yanow at the 2024 Nonfiction Comics Festival.

They sat on an artist's panel at Athol's 2024 Comic Book Fest.
